1. IMMEDIATE RESULTS
A lot of clients enjoy the fact that even after the first session, they can see a new hairline and the light results of their SMP session. The second session is usually done within a week or two and that will give the clients a more visible darker, denser results.
2. SMP (SCALP TATTOO) IS LONG LASTING
SMP will stay in the skin for years to come but at some point it will need to be touched up. During that session a new layer of ink will be deposited into the skin that will make the faded procedure pop up again and look more crisp and darker. As everybody’s skin is different, it will depend on the individual when they will have to come in for a touch up session. Most of the people will need to come in anywhere between 2 to 4 years.

SMP is a great solution for many clients who are busy in their lives and don’t have time every morning to spend on “doing their hair” with fibers or sprays and styling their hair to camouflage the thinning areas or bald spots. With SMP you simply buzz or shave, wash and go. (Unless it’s a density case, there is no shaving needed). Every few years book your touch up appointment and then you’re good to go for another few years.

7. SAFE AND EFFECTIVE
As long as the SMP is carried out by the experienced, licensed technician, all infection control regulations will be carried out and sterile needles and disinfected tools will be used. This reduces the risk of any problems and infections. Then it is also up to the client to keep the area clean and to follow the after care instructions. SMP can be enjoyed by men who experience thinning and hair loss. No medications are needed with scalp micropigmentation or after but on the other hand many clients will need to take medications after her transplants for months possibly even years and all those medications have side effects
8. AFFORDABLE AND COST EFFECTIVE.
Scalp pigmentation is an affordable option for hair loss in comparison to other hair loss replacements. It ends up being a fraction of the cost of hair transplants, which are very expensive and start at about three times the price or more of SMP. Most people are not even happy with the density they achieve with just one hair transplant. There is no scabbing / oozing , no need for dressings or bandages. Redness usually subsides within 24 hours (a little longer if your skin is really white and sensitive).
